Yorkie's: are they sexist?

I am a man who can not live without a Yorkie chocolate bar; never have been able to. What would my life be like without the Yorkie? I cannot imagine. And for the purpose of this article it would be unwise to do so—I’d spend so much time in distress that I wouldn’t be able to write a thing.

Now, a girl friend, the other day, when she was in the midst of one of her womanly revelations, pointed out something that I had never considered: she said, with a very straight face, that the ethos behind Yorkie had slowly—and through the use of comedy and clever marketing, which I never took seriously and that was the point—become sexist. “Sexist?” I said, “Don’t make me laugh!”

I had several things up my sleeve to counter her fairly solid argument; i reminded her of the insurance company that insured her car—a company only for women. Then, clutching at metaphorical straws, I reminded her of the band ‘The Corrs’: “If that isn’t man excluding music then what is?!”

She shook her head. “Fine,” she said. “But that doesn’t mean that Yorkie’s are not sexist.” This point was duly proved when she unleashed a Yorkie from its wrapping and every man on the bus laughed at her, screaming, “it’s for men!”

I could see her point, and I was snookered. What could I say? I had to hand it to her–the Yorkie was in a way sexist, or had become so, and nothing and nobody could do anything about it. She then went on to slay my melting argument with yet more examples—McCoys, ‘man crisps’—and I did not hear the others, I was too busy trying to deal with all this new information.

Not that a simple conversation can put me of my favourite chocolate. The next day I went out and bought as much of it as I could hold—manly chocolate or otherwise—went home and scoffed the lot. Even if it is sexist, I’ll always love my Yorkie.

Speaking of manly, I have decided to just go ahead and book the appointment to get that tattoo that I had gotten on that very drunken night removed. It has been irritating me for a really long time now, apparently I have grown out of that whole adolescent stage now. However, I was looking on the page for tattoo removal stockport and I began to doubt if it will look better afterwards, some of the photos are a little bit unconvincing! What do you guys think is worse, a bird or a faint outline of one?
