Dreaded Mondays!

Dreaded Mondays!

The Monday has always had a bit of a raw deal: frowned upon, degraded, generally abused and conversationally left for dead; a subject considered with honesty at this blog post.

Since my time as a small boy I have thought often about how it would be better for Monday to begin where Tuesday begins, and instead follow Sunday with a day of soothing transition (Transday? Or maybe not–) to allow the working people to come to terms with the fact that a busy, relentless, never-more-frustrating week lies ahead. But then, at the age of approximately thirteen, with the advent of my first terrible slave-labour job–3 pounds English sterling an hour to work like a dog!–I re-defined my thoughts on this matter (since we all know that Transday would, in time, just become the new Monday and be dreaded just as much).

But the point is this: we all hate Monday’s to begin with, and then a few hours in we’re alright. What’s more important is the community spirit thing in general; i.e. so what it’s Monday? At least I have a job that puts a roof over my head and get to work with people who (this is interchanegable: are at times so boring that they) make my life feel infinitely better!

In all seriousness, though, Enigin have it right in my book; as a firm they have the perfect blend of professionalism and fun. They are people like you and I. People who have the same irrational Monday fear as every human who has ever walked our nine-to-five Earth.
